Team management in Mintlify Starter Kit lets you invite coworkers, assign roles that match their responsibilities, and remove users when needed. Only Owners and Admins can manage team settings. Members can collaborate on projects but cannot change workspace-level configuration.

Invite a team member

Open Team settings

Click your avatar in the top-right corner and select Team from the dropdown.

Send an invitation

Click Invite member, enter the person’s email address, and choose a role: Owner, Admin, or Member. Click Send invite.

Wait for them to accept

The invitee will receive an email with a link to join. You can resend or cancel the invitation from the Pending invites list.

Role permissions

Each role has a specific set of permissions. Choose carefully to maintain workspace security.
Assign Admin to team leads who need to manage projects and users without access to billing.

Remove a team member

To remove someone, find their name in the Team list, click the three-dot menu, and select Remove from workspace. Their project access is revoked immediately, but their contributions remain in activity history.
Removing an Owner requires transferring ownership to another user first. A workspace must always have at least one Owner.
