1
Open the Automation panel
Inside any project, click the Automation tab. You will see a list of active rules and a button to create a new one.
2
Choose a trigger
Select the event that starts the rule, such as a task status change, a due date approaching, or a new comment posted.
3
Add conditions (optional)
Narrow the rule so it only runs when specific criteria are met, for example if the task is assigned to a certain person or tagged with a specific label.
4
Pick an action
Define what Mintlify Starter Kit should do next: send a notification, move the task to another section, assign it to a teammate, or post to a connected Slack channel.
5
Save and enable
Name your rule, toggle it on, and click Save. The rule starts working immediately on new events.
